2007 (May): Cover for Nature Neuroscience, Vol 10, Issue 5.
An eye position signal is required by the cortex, but its source has long been unknown. In this issue, Wang and colleagues identify a proprioceptive eye position signal in primate primary somatosensory cortex. The cover is an abstract image inspired by these findings, courtesy of Ellen Levy.

2002: Complexity: Art and Complex Systems (co-organized by Galanter, P. and Levy, E.K.) at the Samuel Dorsky Museum of Art, SUNY New Paltz.

2001: Shared Premises: Adaptation/Innovation, a site-specific installtion at the Narodni Teknicke (National Technical) Museum, Prague, CZECH REPUBLIC. The installation included chromogenic prints and a floor piece and wall with 16 drawings abutting the Museum's display of the History of Transportation.

1993: Disorder and Early Sorrow, Drew (NJ) University and Galerie Wild (Frankfurt)

I think of dominoes as minimal architectural units. News photos such as those generated during the Gulf War show buildings strewn within the landscape of destruction, looking like fallen dominoes. The dominoes become a direct way for me to generate a random structure, potentially catastrophic in nature, and to interweave it with systems of order such as perspective and geometry.

1985: Palomar, a ceiling mural (200 inches diam) installed at the NationalAcademy of Sciences, a building designed, as was the Palomar Observatory, by George Ellery Hale.
